Upper Clutha A&P Society Member Terms and Conditions
Introduction and Purpose
The Upper Clutha A&P Society ("the Society") is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting, promoting and encouraging the growth of the rural community of the Upper Clutha district. The Society aims to foster leadership and build pathways to support a thriving rural community that connects with and contributes to the broader communities of the Upper Clutha.
Our flagship offering is the Wānaka A&P Show, which brings together and celebrates all that our community has to offer and showcases the Upper Clutha to a broader audience and funds the Society.
The Society will invest into building leadership and capability of the Upper Clutha rural community and the future development of our rural sector.
Membership Packages
The Society offers memberships based on age: Adult (18+ years old), Youth (13-17 years old) & Child (0-12 years old). Detailed descriptions of each package can be found on the Society's official website. In addition there is a Committee Membership option for active committee members and their partners.
Membership Fees and Payment
Membership is offered on an annual basis. Payment is required at the time of sign-up and covers a period from the date of purchase – 31st May (the 24/25 season will be from 25th August – 31st May). The Society reserves the right to modify membership fees with prior notice.
No Solicitation
Refrain from unauthorised solicitation or promotion of products, services, or personal ventures during Society events or within Society platforms.
Use of Information & the Privacy Act Clause
By becoming a Member, you agree and acknowledge that:

Member details can be used as part of the Society’s information;

Member details can be made available to the media for human interest stories for the Society to use in promotional and educational material about the Society;

Member details can be made available to nominated companies that exhibit resource materials, where the Society believes them to be reputable.
All personal information provided by Members will be held by the Society. Under the Privacy Act 1993, Members have the right to access and correct their personal information.
Preservation of Property
Respect and care for Society’s property, facilities, and resources. Help maintain a clean and organised environment at all times.
Ethical Conduct
Act ethically and with honesty. Avoid conflicts of interest and be transparent in your actions, particularly if they impact the Society or its members.
Consequences of Violations
Any member found in violation of the Members Terms & Conditions may face appropriate actions, including warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the Society, depending on the severity of the offence.
Amendments
The Society reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, the Code of Conduct, and membership tiers with prior notice.
