Wānaka A&P Foundation Terms and Conditions
- Payment & Use of Funds
- The Upper Clutha A&P Society will remit funds directly to the Recipient upon receipt of the necessary details or as otherwise agreed.
- The funds are to be exclusively used for the approved leadership activity or rural development and well-being initiative outlined in the applicant's submission.
- Reporting Requirements
- Successful applicants must report progress and outcomes to the Upper Clutha A&P Society.
- Written progress reports must be submitted within six months of receiving the funding.
- Additionally, selected applicants may be invited to speak at Upper Clutha A&P Society events to share their project’s impact.
- Use of Recipients Information and Privacy Act Compliance
- The Recipient agrees and acknowledges that:
a. Recipient details can be used as part of the Society’s information.
b. Recipient details can be made available for the Society to use in promotional and educational material.
- All personal information provided by the Recipient on the Application will be held by the Society. Under the Privacy Act 1993, Recipients have the right to access and correct their personal information.
- If the Recipient is successful, they grant the Society a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the Recipient’s name, logo, and trademarks (if applicable) solely in connection with the promotion and marketing of the Society's activities, provided that the Society agrees to comply with the Recipient’s brand guidelines as supplied by the Recipient.
- Confidential Information and Intellectual Property
- All information applicants provide, and all correspondence related to their application will be treated as confidential.
- It is acknowledged that the Recipient may acquire confidential information relating to the Society. The Recipient shall always keep this information strictly confidential, including during and after the grant term. The Recipient agrees never to use this information or attempt to use it for their gain or the gain of any other person.
- Any intellectual property created as a result of this funding remains the property of the grant recipient unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Conduct and Reputational Standards
- If, at any point, the recipient of the grant acts illegally, negligently, or in any way that the Society reasonably believes may harm the conduct of events or negatively affect the Society’s reputation, the Society reserves the right to terminate the grant and reclaim funds.
These terms are designed to uphold the integrity and purpose of the Wānaka A&P Foundation’s grants, fostering community leadership, rural development, and well-being initiatives that align with the values of the Upper Clutha A&P Society.
